The tale of Aristocats begins in a wealthy house in grand Paris. There, lives a rich Mistress with her four cats--Duchess and her three kittens--who she loves greatly--The Mistress loves her cats so much, that she leaves her fortune to them. This draws the attention of a greedy butler, Edgar. Edgar decides to get rid of the cats, to have to fortune all to himself.
Duchess and her kittens are cat-napped, and taken away to the Paris country side, where their only hope is a tom-cat called O'Malley.
